These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the school, institution, or individual user, hereinafter "School" or "User") and ShikshaSync ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the ShikshaSync platform, including all features, tools, APIs, and services offered at shikshasync.in.
By registering an account, clicking "I Agree," or otherwise using the ShikshaSync platform, you confirm that:

ShikshaSync reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable prior notice to active subscribers.
Schools must register through our onboarding process. The registering principal or administrator serves as the primary account holder and is responsible for all activity under that account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated throughout your use of the platform.
Administrators may create accounts for teachers, staff, students, and parents. Each such account is subject to these Terms, and the school administrator is responsible for ensuring all users comply.
You agree to use ShikshaSync only for lawful purposes in connection with school management operations. You must NOT:
Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
All data entered into ShikshaSync by your school — including student records, attendance data, teacher information, and parent contact details — remains the property of your school. ShikshaSync acts as a data processor on your behalf.
The school is the data controller under applicable Indian data protection laws. The school is responsible for:
Upon request, ShikshaSync will provide your school's data in a machine-readable export format within 30 days. Upon account termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before secure deletion, giving you time to export it.
ShikshaSync uses the Meta WhatsApp Business API to send notifications to parents. By activating WhatsApp notifications in ShikshaSync, you agree to the following:
Use of WhatsApp notifications is subject to Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy. ShikshaSync will only send messages using pre-approved Meta message templates. Schools must not attempt to bypass template requirements.
WhatsApp message delivery depends on the recipient's device, network availability, and WhatsApp service uptime. ShikshaSync does not guarantee delivery of WhatsApp messages and is not liable for non-delivery.
⚠️ Important: Misuse of the WhatsApp integration, including sending unsolicited or policy-violating messages, may result in suspension of your WhatsApp Business number by Meta. ShikshaSync is not responsible for such actions taken by Meta.
The ShikshaSync platform, including its software, code, design, logos, trademarks, and documentation, is the exclusive intellectual property of ShikshaSync. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform solely for your school's internal management purposes.
Study notes, question papers, model answers, and other content generated by our AI tools on behalf of your school are licensed to your school for educational use. ShikshaSync retains no claim over content generated for your students.
If you provide feedback or suggestions about our platform, you grant ShikshaSync the right to use that feedback to improve our services without obligation to compensate you.
ShikshaSync offers monthly subscription plans. Current pricing is listed on our website and may be updated with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
We offer a 30-day free trial with full platform access. No credit card is required for the trial. At the end of the trial, you may choose to subscribe or your access will be suspended.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable Indian consumer protection law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 7 days at someshshukla2004@gmail.com.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. Your access will continue until the end of your paid billing period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if:
Upon termination, your access to the platform is immediately revoked. Your data will be retained for 30 days during which you may request an export, after which it will be permanently deleted.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, ShikshaSync shall not be liable for:
Our total aggregate liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ShikshaSync and its team members from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
